It's another month with another Le Chateau shoe pick! I went back for a pair I already own but in black because I dig them THAT much. The lace-up shootie is still hot for this season and with a low chunky heel I can walk any distance while still being in style. I also thought I was going to have to wait until I got to Tulum to style them for you guys but miraculously had such a warm, sunny day right before I left that it worked out after all. I took a peek into the newly open Free People store inside the Eaton Centre to scope out some goodies for my trip and two of the pieces styled today came from my visit. I've been drawn to this mustard colour a lot recently so this heavy knit dress caught my eye right away. The high slits on the side make it a nice vacay dress over a bathing suit or worn with leggings like this while it's still cool. The other piece to point out, which I'm sure you can guess is this belt! I've had my eyes on this BLow the Belt belt for TIME and now it's finally in my possession. Styling it with this dress and even the shoes worked out perfectly, but I can't wait to see how else I'll be working it into everything else I own. Brave Leather also created a similar style in their Spring Collection in brown with silver hardware that I'll be sure to share soon too!! Enjoy these pics because next up will be my trip to Tulum!! xx

It's exciting news Friday! You're looking at the newest brand ambassador for Bench! Can I get a whoop whoop! So basically you can check me out styling my store favourites each month. After attending their Spring/Summer preview in the Fall I couldn't be more pumped because they have some really good sh*t hitting the racks this season. For my first post I felt it was most appropriate to kick things off in their super rad Utter SS Graphic Tee. I'm not one to typically wear things so heavily branded like this but I couldn't help it. As soon as I took one step in the store I saw it and knew that was the piece. My style is very versatile, as you may have noticed, so this plays into my athletic side perfectly. It's totally that chunky off-centred black stripe that had me hooked! It comes with the colours reversed too if you're a person that tends to let black dominate your look. I'm for sure going to grab that one too. So that's it! I'm starting off with a basic but it's so bold that it had to be styled for my coming out party. See you next month with more from Bench! xx
I am SO PUMPED because Free People opened their doors inside the Eaton Centre which means my favourite store just got a whole lot closer and convenient for me to shop! I'm leaving for Tulum on Saturday and decided to pop into the new store to scope out some pieces that could be perfect to bring along. The store was beautiful, it's so my vibe! Like if I could choose a store to live in it would totally be Free People, I'd live in zen. The Chelsea Tee I'm styling today was in store but in a dreamy blue. I must admit the blue colour was my original choice, not surprising, but decided the rust would be a great addition to my closet. It's not something I have and it's such a great complement to denim. On top of it all tie dye is my jam. Free People really completes the bohemian side of my style.
Another detail to today's look that I want to point out is my Ochoa Belt by Brave. It's a simple black belt but with a nice earthy wood buckle detail that works so great with this outfits vibe. K, and is anyone else loving that flared denim is back? As a shorty I love the length this style gives me and I'm so happy to have it back! Also, do you like my DIY choker? I've made a few and will blog about them soon xx

It doesn't get more luxurious then walking through the beautiful Shangri-la Hotel to get to your appointment at the Miraj Hammam Spa by Caudalie. Passing through the lobby lounge with a man singing as he also played the piano really put me in a relaxing mood. I was visiting the Miraj Hammam Spa to experience their Divine Body Treatment that involves a full body exfoliation followed by a soothing 30 minute massage. The timing of this could!n't have come at a better time. With the temperatures dropping and the heat getting cranked at my condo I have been feeling so incredibly dry. I hate that feeling, especially when no amount of moisturizer seems to get me hydrated. A deep exfoliation is exactly the boost my body needed to feel smooth again. The body scrub they use combines sugar, hibiscus, sesame seed and grape seed oil. As you can imagine the scents were amazing. I knew this would be the case since I've been before for an oxygen facial and loved the scents so much that I came home with a couple products to try and live in my spa dream just a little longer. After you are gently exfoliated from neck to toe you jump in the shower for a nice hot shower to open up those pores and absorb even more of that goodness. Following the exfoliation is a relaxing half hour massage to end things off blissfully. With a treatment at the Miraj Hammam Spa you get to relax in their cozy cushioned lounge or if you like you have access to the Shangri-la's pool area to take a dip. I've loved both my experiences so much there and will definitely be adding a couple scrubs to my winter routine each year.
Now, since Valentine's Day is around the corner I've teamed up with Miraj Hamma Spa by Caudalie to share some love with you! Enter to win 1 Couples Hammam & Gommage treatment valid at $200. What is it? This steam and body exfoliation is part of the authentic traditions of the Middle East. De-stress between a private high intensity and low mist steam chamber, the Hammam will cleanse your body while stimulating your senses and imagination. Lay relaxed on Jerusalem gold marble as you experience an invigorating full body Gommage (exfoliation) using eucalyptus infused black Moroccan soap. This experience is considered to be the ultimate detoxification treatment.

Zara really knows how to make pieces go viral in the style blogger world and these pants are a great example of that. I LOVE the biker trend. It creeped into our jacket collections over the past couple years and with much acceptance we started to find the details on our legs. I've always been drawn to mashups of textures, details and colours so pants like this I just had to have. The ribbing is my most absolute favourite feature. I've since incorporated a few other pairs of pants to my closet with that same detail throughout the leg, I just can't get enough of it right now. Especially because my style has gotten more rugged and casual over this past year, it's a look that really works for me that I'm feeling comfortable in. With this biker style very much being a trend right now I couldn't be happier with this pair that Zara designed. Of course I drool over similar styles in real leather that are like 20X the price of these but this is one of those things that I know I will be over with in a year, two tops so taking the cheaper alternative is good enough for me. You can't deny Zara is excellent for exactly that, fast fashion. Let me know if this is a look you are rocking these days or if it's too out of your comfort zone xx
