I almost didn't think the time would come, but here I am in a little flowy number and slip on sandals. HALLELUJAH! This beyond adorable dress I was lucky to find in a super cute shop called V.O.C. located in Liberty Village here in Toronto. I always find myself stumbling into random shops which in turn has me stumbling on some great unexpected pieces like this one. I picked this dress up back in February right before my trip to Tulum and even though I did wear it on the trip I have been dying to pull it out again to wear this summer. Earlier this month when I visited Le Chateau to see what was new in the shoe section I was immediately drawn to these tan suede slip ons. They are so simple yet eye-catching and can be worn with so much. When I thought about how I wanted to style them for you guys I originally envisioned a casual look involving denim but then I was reminded of 'the dress' and the two just happened to work so well together. So well I think this post is at the top of the list of favourite entries. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather as much as me xx

Who else is stoked that summer weather is finally upon us?! I was starting to get really cranky as the days filled with cool weather kept coming. In all seriousness though, weather impacts my mood hugely. I need the sun, the heat, the longer days to get up and get moving. It's like my body puts up with winter for only so long. Once the cold weather over-welcomes its stay my body starts to fall in a slump. That was basically the month of May for me. I wasn't feeling myself and my stress levels had reached their max. That is until last weekend brought the sun beaming through my bedroom windows waking me up to heat that I knew was finally here to stay. Immediately everything took a shift for the better and I am so ready to absorb every moment of summer. And let's get on topic here, I am pumped to switch up my wardrobe to lighter fabrics, smaller pieces and wearing as many open toe shoes as possible! This new tank from Bench sums things up pretty perfectly. It's time for me to take it to the shores in my itty bitty bikinis and soak up those rays to have that happy meter hit it's all time high! There is so much to look forward to this summer and it's all just starting to finally sink in. With two trips home to the cottage to see the family this month, a quick getaway to Montreal in between with my honey, followed by Greece in July with the bestie, I'm finding it really hard to find something to be sad about. I hope y'all are filled with warm and good vibes too! Enjoy your moments lovelies xx

Oh the double buckle belt. Possibly one of my favourite accessories this season. I've had my eyes on this detail for the past few Coachella's and now, finally it's in my possession to complete my Spring/Summer looks. Brave Leather launched the must-have trend this season which I was beyond excited to get my hands on. I've said it before and I'll see it again but their latest collection is bomb dot com. The double buckle belt I'm styling in this post is their Daphne Double Buckle Leather Belt in Brown (click the link and catch your girl featured on their site). You can also choose between Black and Cognac for this particular style or choose from one of their other variations like Frankie, same size but different hardware, or Jo-Beth, thinner in width. Because this type of belt screams music festival I had to play the part in today's post and pair it up with this Brixton Hat from Zane, also perfect for the occasion. Although this outfit is a tad on the dressed-up side of things you have so much freedom on how to style this belt. Especially with the warm weather here it's perfect for cinching in those loose-fitted summer dresses or upping the game on some casual high-waisted shorts. To get in on this trend shop Brave's Festival Capsule Collection.

Please tell me if you are in the Toronto area that you've popped into one of the newly opened Saks? Back in March, around my birthday, I decided to check out the Queen & Yonge location for the chance of coming across an outfit for the occasion. Instead I left with something better, a beautiful present for myself... this Céline purse. I was beyond excited to see a Céline store within Saks, since this isn't something that exists here and when I saw this beauty in black I knew I had to scoop it up right away before it flew off the shelf. I have been wanting this to be a part of my purse collection for SO LONG NOW. I actually gave up hope... silly me. A month later I was invited to check out the Sherway location which I've heard so many amazing things about. Keep scrolling down to see the beauty that exists inside.

The morning I visited Saks at Sherway we got to hear from Cleo Davis-Urman, Fashion Director of Contemporary and Modern Collections, and what some of the latest Spring/Summer trends are. Styled in everything Saks we got a glimpse of trends like the modern romantic, boho (shoulder-baring silhouettes my fave), athleticism and utility (think urban safari). Other things you'll be seeing a lot of this season are stripes, ruffles, denim, the shoulder bag, high heel platforms and metal elements. The presentation was fantastic and the tour that followed made me feel like I was in a dream. You'll see what I mean by a few snap shots I took as I walked the store. It's definitely visiting for its beauty.
