Nothing beats some prolonged fall weather. Being able to comfortably wear my leather jacket in December is basically all I ever wanted for Christmas. Yes the sight of white snow is great on Christmas Eve and Day but I'm good with just that. Actually, I've run away for the holidays for the past 5 years now so my preferences are palm trees and sunshine. I know a lot of you think that's probably lame, especially my Canadian readers but just because I was born here doesn't mean I'm meant for this. One day people - one day. In the meantime I thank my wonderful parents for sharing these same feelings and buying a house in Florida where we spend Christmas Eve on the golf cart strolling through their community checking out all the decorated homes with fake snow. And guess what. I love it. And yes our Christmas tree is replaced by a decorated palm tree and I also love that. All of this doesn't change the fact that I love the energy and the meaning of this time of year. There are so many good vibes travelling through the air and spending time with my family makes me feel all fuzzy and the daily poolside bit is just an added bonus for me. Who else is excited about the holidays around the corner. Clearly I am because this whole write-up just got redirected from fashion to rubbing my warm weathered holidays in your face. Sorry about that.
