Shu Uemura Hair

Shu Uemura Wonder Worker, Shu Uemura Essence Absolue, Shu Uemura Texture Wave
Hello my beauties! Today we are switching up the usual kind of style post to a HAIR style post. I received some Shu Uemura hair products and couldn't wait to put them to the test. I shot a little youtube video that is a bit lengthy but I decided I wanted to go through my entire hair regiment and incorporate each of the Shu products I was given to experience it together. Literally when I shot this I hadn't used the product yet so it was in fact my first time smelling and using them. The still shots I took 3 weeks later because I wanted use these products regularly in order to see how I really felt about them when giving you my review. So enjoy the video and I swear I'll try to keep an eye on the time for the next one.
So as mentioned in the video the three Shu Uemura hair products I'm reviewing is the Wonder Worker, Essence Absolue and Texture Wave. I'm being straight with you when I say I use the Wonder Worker now every time I've washed my hair and use the Essence Absolue Daily. The Texture Wave I juggle between another favourite spray of mine but still use when looking for a firmer hold. Things I've noticed is that brushing has got easier, my hair is feeling softer and seriously ladies ALL THREE PRODUCTS SMELL DIVINE. Sometimes I don't even attempt to compete with the smell with a perfume, seriously there's just no point. SO GOOD! Below is another step-by-step process of how I've been incorporating these products into my hair routine as well as a few ti bits of info on each.

Once my I've towel dried my hair I spritz in the Wonder Worker to help loosen and detangle my knots. As a blonde I am quite knotty and I do notice a difference when using this product before attempting to brush them out. The Wonder Worker has several benefits for hair, it hydrates, detangles, smooths, conditions, boosts radiance, tames frizz, adds silkiness and also provides UV protection. The secret ingredient that makes this wonder worker work is Moringa Extract.

Next up is Essence Absolue. A product I use a whole lot of. After I've brushed through my wet hair I add a pump to my hair before blow drying and another pump mid shaft downward to my tips and problem areas after. The Essence Absolue helps protect against dryness, frizz and UV damage. The secret ingredient for this one is Camellia Oil. I've always been a regular user with oils not just for their health benefits but also because I find it loosens my curls to waves rather than tight ringlets. One other trick is I will put a pump in my hair before hoping in the shower and I find it helps ease up on brushing once I'm out. This I do when I haven't shampooed in about 3 or 4 days and have a build up of product.

The final step was styling my hair and holding the finish with the Texture Wave hairspray. This spray infuses hair with volume, offers freedom of movement and ensures hold without stickiness or residue.  All the above is true after using but I would categorize this as a strong hold and as much as I can run my fingers through my hair and expect my hold to last it's got more grit than some others. Sometimes I do prefer that depending on my hair style and other times when it's just a soft easy curl I'll switch to a lighter spray since I curl with my straightener which offers hold in itself.
Ladies, go try this stuff!! If any I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Essence Absolue it's so good and your hair can't ever get enough of it. Hope you enjoyed xx
