Making a Trade: Floppy Hats for Fedoras

Janessa Leone Vera Hat, Rag & Bone Booties, Brave suede fringe purse
Step aside floppy, wide brim hats, hello fedoras. It's so funny how we can rock something one day and the very next day question why we loved something SO MUCH. That's how I felt recently after purchasing this hat. I remember a short time after I felt like adding one of my floppy's to my look and immediately thinking to myself this thing is so huge!! This Janessa Leone hat called Vera I scooped up from Zane here in Toronto and was quickly drawn to the gold detailing but I also felt like this was the best fit I've found in a hat ever. I have a tiny head so finding a hat that fits snug without being blown off on a semi windy day has been a challenge. There is nothing worse then wearing a hat and having to hold it down as you're trying to take a leisurely stroll. Like what an outfit buzz kill! Hats are such a weakness of mine and yet I don't wear them enough. With this look the dress is very plain and casual so adding this hat was such an easy touch to make it more special. What kind of hats are your favourite for this season?
