Black on Black on Black

In my last post I mentioned I had some exciting things coming up for 2015 and I'm ready to tell you about one. Say hello to Le Chateau's newest shoe ambassador! This means each month I'll be sharing with you my favourite set of kicks and how I'm working them into my style. For January I chose a pair of booties that pulled me in for several reasons. For starters booties are all I seem to be wearing for the winter season now. No more knee highs, however if they are thigh highs then yes. These in particular have a wicked chunky heel and I love the details like the ribbed back and gold zip. Get a closer look at these beauties here. Aside from the aesthetics these shoes are Italian made and actually so comfortable. Hope you like my pick for January and I'll see you with a new pair next month!

Another year bites the dust

It's been a while and I'm back with a post that is also now overdue as 2015 is well underway. So what have I been up to since we've last spoke? I decided to take a step into adulthood and start apartment hunting to find the perfect home for myself and my little fur ball. I was living with my sister and her husband in a large cozy home so the thought of downsizing and having to spend a pretty penny each month to survive in this expensive City was a tad stressful. However, the timing felt right. I was ready for the change. Everything happened incredibly fast but I found a condo that was perfect for me and I moved in on December 1st. With just a bed and my clothes to move (well A LOT of clothes) my primary focus was to turn this small box into a {stylish} home before the holidays approached. And that's exactly what I did. I disconnected from everything, focused on my home and enjoyed the holidays with friends and family. On top of a move December is always a busy month so putting TS on hold just felt like the right thing to do. I will admit that come the New Year I reflected back on disconnecting from the virtual world and I really enjoyed it. I was living in the moment more than ever and came to a stand still with what I wanted to do. I left my job before the holidays on top of everything so landing something new is now at the forefront of things. I will be here as much as my time allows and I do actually have a few exciting things that I'm kicking 2015 off that I look forward to sharing with you!!!
Now that you know what I've been up to for the last two months I briefly want to touch on 2014. I went through a lot of difficult change back in 2013 where I was basically waiting for each day to come and just go. Time gets us through things and when 2014 approached I knew it was time to say enough is enough. I made a pact with myself to make my main focus of 2014 to simply be 'happiness'.  I went through a lot of phases and reflecting back it all makes sense because it was MY process to get to where I needed to be. I had a lot of rebuilding to do. I took on things that in the past made me happy, I got things out of my system as careless as a few of those things may have been, I made an effort to get out and be more social and not to mention I took on so many amazing projects with my blog that it was my biggest year of growth yet. So did I reach my focus? Absolutely. I feel back to my normal self but improved. Nothing beats happiness and laughter and a lot of that was found in the B roll of my posts throughout the year that I'm sharing with you today.
Find your happiness and make 2015 the best year yet and as always thank you for your support xx
