Fashion Challenge / Value Village + Giveaway

DON'T MISS THE GIVEAWAY AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST!!!

It's been a while but another fashion challenge has arrived and it's been my favourite Value Village thrift to date! In the past, and where the concept all began, was in Pembroke the small town that I grew up in. With little shopping options my sister and I loved the challenge to open up our minds and dig for good closet finds. Always a success, but this time I wanted to experience the VV shopping here in Toronto where I now live (it's crazy that after all this time I've never explored the TO VV's until a couple weeks ago). The hunt began and my cart filled up extremely quick. Here in the City I did find more that I could work with however prices were higher than back in Pembroke. That being said I don't mind seeing the price tag of $11.99 on a J.Crew sweater that's $120 in the actual store!! That's the beauty of Value Village, you have no idea what you will find and it's different at every store!
Now let's talk about how rad this look turned out. You're shocked I know - I still am too! So obviously crop tops rule the world right now and this one in particular is great because like the ones I already own this one is more loose fitted and dressy with great detailing of buttons down the back. On top of this great top was this cropped, collarless blazer that also rules and a different cut to anything I have. And trust me I have a lot of blazers! The final VV find that totally completed this look and tied in my metallic skirt PERFECTLY was this chunky silver necklace. If you haven't been noticing I am totally back on the silver train! Obsessed with gold for so many years and thinking that's what I would be accessorizing in forever I have officially moved on. I LOVE MY SILVER ACCESSORIES AND DETAILING!! Like I said in the beginning this is easily my favourite Value Village style challenge to date. This outfit came together like it was meant to be and can I also say that the lighting for this shoot was so on point to complement this look. So moody I love it!
That's it folks! I will be posting a second look on Friday that's completely different so stay tuned! In the meantime you can check out my previous VV style challenges here, herehere, here and here!
Now head on down to the end to get entered in on a $50 giveaway to Value Village!! xx
