It's safe to assume that you have a crop top or two (or ten) in your closet due to its extreme popularity so why not feature it for the latest three way tie! Plus these aren't going anywhere for the fall season ahead so finding variety on how to wear this shrunken top is something worth exploring. If you've noticed that every time you've worn it, it's always been paired with a pair of denim cut-offs this past summer then let me show some other ideas that might work with your style the next time you reach for that crop top!
PAIRING YOUR CROP TOP WITH A HIGH WAISTED SKIRT
Crop tops don't always need to be worn in casual settings, in fact they are incredible easy to dress up. Go through your skirts and look for one that sits above your belly button so only about an inch or two of skin is actually exposed. Keeping the bare skin to a minimum makes your look more appropriate for special events or dates. There's a time and place for everything you wear so dress appropriately. If you want to expose more skin than this go for it, I do, but it also means I'm either dressed for either a casual summer day like heading to the beach or it's because I'm hitting up the club. With 30 approaching however, I prefer to close the gap even for the club!

ROCKING CROP TOPS WITH LOW RIDERS
For this example Native Fox immediately comes to mind since this is a look she masters regularly. If you've worked hard for that fit bod and are comfortable enough to have your mid section exposed than you go girl. If I hadn't taken the summer off at the gym than maybe I would have rocked it more but at this time I'll pass and stick to covering up til I get back to the grind! Regardless I wanted to share a more casual look but one that had some funk rather than just a pair of shorts. I've been into leather-like joggers for a while and thought I would pair the two with my favourite kicks for a more athletic look. Play around with funky bottoms in your closet and see what works!

So here is one you might not have thought of yourself: wearing it over top of clothes you already own! Yep, why not give one of your basic dresses a facelift and feel like you just scored something new? Here I've taken one of my simple maxi dresses then threw on my crop top. Simple as that! You've now given your dress more layers and made that plain maxi just a little more interesting. Here I've layered black on black but to only keep this particular crop top consistent with the remainder of the looks in this post but get adventurous and play with colours if you want the crop to pop just a tad more. And look at that, no skin exposed. So if any of you love the crop trend but never felt comfortable wearing it then try this trick and get in on the action!
