Joining forces are two of my Toronto favourites: Armed Jewelry and Bicyclette Boutique.  If you are a frequent visitor to my blog you should be more than familiar with Armed as I have featured their stuff in several posts.  If you are new then you can check those posts out here, here and here.  Bicyclette is an adorable, girly, little boutique that carries amazing clothing lines making each visit especially exciting to look forward to.  Armed and Bicyclette recently teamed up to create an exclusive head piece  collection that has now officially been launched and can be found in store if you live here in Toronto or  on the bicyclette website!  Since I already fell in love with Armed headpieces before this collaboration manifested by wearing one to a gala back in February it was a no brainer when asked to model the collection.
So with no further ado I introduce to you the Gypsetter Collection.  Let me know your favourite in the comment section below!!

Toronto Fashion Week / Pink Tartan

Dress, Keepsake / Belt, Club Monaco / Clutch, Marc by Marc Jacobs / Booties, Nine West

Round two (first round here) at Toronto Fashion Week last month was to see Pink Tartan, a show always highly anticipated.  It's a line you can always count on for being pretty and ladylike which easily explains why I chose this dress to wear for the occasion.  Since this show was fall/ winter many of the looks were quite bundled up but oh so fashionably.  Some of my favourite looks included plaid which came down the runway frequently and fluffy fur collars.  My top three looks are below but you can check out the full collection here.  Although the looks were pretty I can wait very patiently for next winter to come since this one is still not through.

Toronto Fashion Week / Line Knitwear

Hat, Target / Sweater, Zara / Skirt, Bedo / Necklace, Armed / Boots, L.K.Bennett / Lipstick, MAC Rebel

It was Toronto Fashion Week last month and Line Knitwear was one of the shows I attended.  I became an instant fan when I discovered this Canadian line about a year ago so it was a show I was eager to see. Given it's cozy and casual style I chose to reflect that in my outfit with this coated knit, shimmery skirt and knee highs, pulled together with a floppy hat and custom necklace by Armed.

Below were my top picks from Line's Fall 2014 show but you can check out the full collection here.  The candy floss pink moto jacket MUST be mine!

What a Nice Complement / Mustard + Plum

Deep colours like plum and wine I wear a lot in the gloomier months but that doesn't mean you need to keep it dark with your whole look.  Take mustard for example, it's a colour you may not wear a lot of but when you pair it with plum you get a fun pop of colour that just seems to work.  If combining two major pieces is a little out of your comfort zone then break it up by using one of the colours in an accessory.  One of my favourite scarves is this mustard colour and what's amazing is how much I can wear it with.  So get a little experimental with your colours and try this combo out for yourself!
