French Connection always has great pieces that you can count on. I really loved the first sweater because of the glitter in the threads. Not only is this a great casual sweater that fits loosely yet flattering with a flared sleeve, but the glitter makes it a perfect festive sweater to have for the holiday season. The second sweater is amazing for it's versatility. With a set of nylons and the right boot this is a great sweater dress to own this season. However, if you hate being cold like myself and refuse to bare your legs that much then wearing it as a sweater with jeans or leggings is a great alternative!

Oh I'm such a sucker for jackets! I have way too many, except cold weather flat out sucks especially when it comes to trying to look good while being bundled up. That being said I figure it only makes sense to have a lot of options for jackets in fall/winter, right? Clearly this jacket had me running for it because of it's colour. I love a lot of colours and I even get super excited about some as they come along but I think oxblood actually has me obsessed - pretty strange since I've hated red my whole life until recently. Anyway, aside from it being the perfect colour for fall it really does fit incredibly. I love the cape-like style of it and I found the shape very flattering. The jacket had a great over sized hood as well as draw-strings along the bottom to tighten it up for those really chilly days.

As you can see by this post I was recently on a major hunt for sweaters to keep me warm this season. I was shocked at how many sweaters I tried on during my fall shopping before I settled on any! Apparently finding the perfect knit can be a difficult task. My shopping for the most part is usually planned. I know what it is I'm looking for based on closet needs or specific pieces to complete looks I have in my head and of course I usually end up with a few extra things along the way that I just can't resist. Anyway, as much as I just needed sweaters period because I realized I actually down really own any, I pictured myself living in a particular look over winter. This outfit consists of faux-leather leggings and an over sized chunky knit. The reason why most sweaters weren't working was because they didn't have the length I wanted. Yes I love my cropped tops but that was seriously the majority of what I saw while shopping for sweaters. Finally, I stumbled into H&M and found an armful of options to go through and I am pleased to say you can look forward to an outfit post soon of the look I was describing!
