Tuesday night on the rooftop of Thomson Hotel I attended an event hosted by Marta Tryshak who is the beautiful face behind Canadian blog WithLoveGabrielle.com. It was a fashionable intimate gathering filled with cocktails and a beautiful view of the City and the best part was feeling inspired by the end of the night. I was fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to sit down with Marta and ask her a few questions! She's such a doll!!
| Who doesn't love getting swag from attending events?! Coty Canada gifted us with Roberto Cavalli perfume. Thank you! |

WHEN DID YOU START BLOGGING?
2008
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START WRITING?
I started my blog while in University studying art history and architecture. Being a bit bored of all the school work I decided to start writing. I've always had an interest in fashion and with a huge love for Chanel I established the name of my blog, 'WithLoveGabrielle' {Gabrielle being the first name of Coco Chanel}

WHAT DID YOUR CONTENT FIRST CONSIST OF?
My content was always different. It's like a pair of shoes, you might decide to go with flats one day and a pair of heels the next. It was really just what I felt like writing about that day
WHAT DID YOU DO TO REALLY GET YOUR NAME OUT THERE AND ATTRACT THE LOYAL FOLLOWERS AND READERS THAT YOU HAVE TODAY?
I don't even know how it happened!! It was a gradual thing that just happened over time. Staying true to who you are keeps you unique and I want to believe that's why people return to read about what I have to say. Don't be afraid to take chances either and it will turn into what it is

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE OF MARTA?
Wake up. Coffee. Emails. Begin writing. Attend events
{pretty sure there should be shopping somewhere in that mix}

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME WHO IS STARTING OUT AT BLOGGING?
Don't ever sell yourself short. You offer readers something unique from what any other major magazine can produce online. Stay true to yourself and keep with it, don't give up
A huge thank you again to Marta for taking the time to speak with me, inspire me and motivate me to keep moving forward with what I love doing
